Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files that a website or a service used by the website may store in a visitor's browser.

Similar browser-based technologies, such as local storage, may also be used.

2. What Technologies Do We Use?

The BNCcon website currently uses two main categories.

Necessary technologies

These technologies are required for correct operation and security of the website and to remember the visitor's cookie-consent choice.

They are always active because certain essential website functions may not work properly without them.

Technical name used for storing the visitor's consent preference:

Your consent choice is stored not in a cookie but in your browser's local storage, under the key: bnc-cookie-consent. The stored value records your analytics consent status, the consent version and the time of your choice. It remains until you change your settings or clear your browser data.

Analytics cookies

The Analytics category uses Google Analytics 4.

Analytics is activated only where the visitor has explicitly consented.

Typical Google Analytics cookies include:

_ga

Purpose: distinguishes users.

Default lifetime: 2 years.

_ga_595GNJJ25S

Purpose: maintains session state.

Default lifetime: 2 years.

3. Marketing Cookies

The BNCcon website currently does not use marketing, remarketing or personalised-advertising cookies.

4. Google Consent Mode

The website uses Google Consent Mode.

Before the visitor makes a choice, analytics_storage is set to “denied”.

If the visitor accepts Analytics cookies, analytics_storage changes to “granted”.

Advertising storage and advertising-personalisation consent remain denied because the website currently does not use Google Ads advertising or remarketing features.

5. Managing Consent

On the first visit, the cookie banner allows visitors to:

  • accept optional cookies;
  • reject non-essential cookies;
  • manage individual preferences.

Consent can subsequently be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.

6. Browser Controls

Visitors may also delete or block cookies using their browser settings.

Blocking necessary cookies or browser storage may affect certain website functionality.

7. Contact
